There are certain pieces of equipment that regularly crop up when we work on productions in the Riley. This includes equipment which is owned by either backstage or the union and equipment that we regularly hire in. This section contains manuals for some of the most common pieces of equipment. Safety

Ok, so most people don't like the phrase Health and Safety, but the point is that it makes work safer for us all, and if you actually know the truths from the myths that are splashed across news papers then most of it is really common sense and good practise. This section of the Backstage Knowledge section of our site gives you some key information about how to work in the Riley Smith Hall, and many other venues, safely.
